How Corruption today is hidden, How it destroys a country from within
The phrase was quoted by former US President Benjamin Franklin in a letter to French Physicist Jean-Baptiste Le Roy,
“Our new Constitution is now established, and has an appearance that promises permanency. But in this world, nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.”
But man he forgot the one thing that connects the two together, Corruption.
Increased taxation coupled with a lack of transparency, misuse of funds, or disproportionately benefiting certain groups at the expense of the general population, is usually a sign of corruption.
Corruption today is Hidden
Corruption in the modern world is usually hidden under intricate financial structures.
The aim is to fool uneducated or less aware public so that they don’t know what is going behind the scenes.
Most would think corruption has magically vanished but that is seldom true.
Usually loop holes in the system are figured out by smart Politicians, Lawyers and big Businesses to hide black money and launder it across their different shell companies.
